THE MODEL :

Make a bold statement with this masterfully proportioned wall console. This model stands out through its rich relief and powerful scrollwork, evoking the grand architectural details of European palaces. Its compact and dense structure makes it the ideal stage for visually heavy items, such as a vintage clock, a plaster bust, or a dramatic lamp. In matte black, it catches the light on its many edges, revealing the full complexity of its sculptural design.

Proven print settings :

  • Material : Matte Black PLA (achieves a high-end carved stone or cast iron look).
  • Infill : 15-20% (recommended to support the weight of the massive platform).
  • Nozzle : 0.4 mm.

Maker's Tip : This console is so detailed it can stand alone as a piece of art. For a "Vintage Manor" look, try lightly sanding the sharpest edges to reveal a hint of shine or a metallic undercoat, simulating the natural wear of a historic artifact.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
