Description
Stop paying $30 at the hardware store for positioning squares! This fully parametric 90-degree clamping jig is designed to be the ultimate, easy-to-print helper for all your woodworking, acrylic building, and DIY assembly projects.
Whether you are building drawers, picture frames, or assembling large furniture, this jig ensures a perfect 90-degree right angle every time.
Key Features:
- The "Glue Relief" Corner: I specifically designed a small circular cutout at the inner corner. This prevents squeezed-out wood glue from sticking your project to the jig, and guarantees that minor imperfections on your wood don't ruin the perfect 90° angle.
- Zero Supports Required: Designed to print completely flat on the build plate. No supports, no messy cleanup.
- Fully Parametric (Customizable!): Use MakerWorld's built-in customizer to change the arm length, width, thickness, and the number of clamping holes to perfectly fit your specific project. Make a tiny 50mm square for jewelry boxes, or a massive 250mm one for cabinetry!
Recommended Print Settings for Maximum Strength: Since this is a functional tool that will be under clamping pressure, you want it to be rigid.
- Material: PETG, ABS, or a tough PLA (PLA+ / PLA Pro). Standard PLA works for light duty.
- Walls/Perimeters: 4 to 6 walls. (More walls = a stiffer jig).
Infill: 15% - 25% Gyroid or Honeycomb.
How to Use: Place the square in the inside or outside corner of the two pieces you are joining. Use standard F-clamps, C-clamps, or spring clamps through the provided holes or along the outer edges to lock the pieces tightly against the jig before screwing or gluing.
