Information

Often I get requests to turn these foaming soap holders into pen/pencil/makeup brush holders as well! This handy little insert is a quick print that can easily be set inside any of the foaming soap containers to: a) raise up the bottom for taller models so that pens can more easily be reached and/or b) block the drainage holes that are often in the models - or any other opening that may be in the design where pens could easily fall out!

Instructions

1. Use the fitment plate to test fit for your model. This size should work fine for any of my models, but if you are printing it for use with any other designer's models, I would make sure to check this first!
2. The outside and inside are separate objects, so they can be scaled up or down independently as needed! If you just want to seal a drainage hole or other holes but not add height, make the height of the inside something like 1-3mm. If it is a particularly deep hole, you could make it taller than what it currently is - that is preference! As for the outside, you may also want that taller or shorter depending on the design and look you want, or how easy you want it to be removed!
3. The third plate is for a slightly narrower/tighter fit, I measured this specifically to match designs made by another designer because I personally have some models from her. You can see her model provided as an example in the photos.
