Description

My Other Hand (Early Test Version)

This is an early prototype released for community testing. I'd love to get your feedback — what works, what doesn't, and what could be improved. Your real-world experience will directly shape the next version.

My Other Hand is a table-mounted object holder designed to grip almost anything firmly in place — so you can work with one hand, or free up both hands for more precise tasks. Think of it as your extra hand, always ready on your workbench or kitchen table.

One hand temporarily out of action? Use it to hold jars, bottles, tools, or any object while you work on it.

Need a third hand for a tricky two-handed task? Clamp your object in and focus on what matters.

Two clamps lock the unit securely under your table.

Inside, four TPU jaws tighten around the object from two perpendicular axes, holding it firmly against any force or rotation.

The jaws are interchangeable — curved jaws are included for round objects like jars and bottles. Flat jaws are also available for gripping objects with straight edges.

Swap them in seconds depending on what you need to hold.

Your table is fully protected — every part in contact with the table surface is printed in TPU, so no scratching, no marking, no matter how tight you clamp.

⚠️ Print settings matter — please read before printing

All parameters have been tuned for strength and reliability, not print speed. This object needs to withstand real mechanical stress. It is strongly recommended to follow the provided print profiles or instructions carefully. Printing with default or speed-optimized settings may result in a weak part that fails under load and won't be truly usable.

Assembly tutorial — a step-by-step assembly guide is included, either as a PDF or in the photo gallery. Please follow it before first use.
