Description

This is Toothpaste Squeezer 4.0!!, the new and improved toothpaste squeezer made to make life easier. It features a more ergonomic design allowing it to stand instead of simply rolling away which also makes it more visually appealing. The handle has also been redesigned for a more comfortable grip in mind and to be more sturdy. Taking previous advice I also reinforced the shaft to make it less prone to twisting. The squeezer has also been shortened in length making it smaller and more compact.

The toothpaste squeezer features a Print-in-Place ratcheting mechanism that allows for effortless winding of a toothpaste tube while keeping it place preventing uncoiling.

Assembly is fairly straightforward as the two piece design is very simple and assembly remains easy. Simply insert the handle/shaft into the main body making sure the locking mechanism lines up. After that simply align the two thin holes on the shaft and body to insert the toothpaste tube. To remove the toothpaste tube simply pull out the handle/shaft from the main body. This will release the tube from the ratchet mechanism.

Insert the shaft/handle into the body as follows making sure to line up the two pieces correctly. After that twist the handle until the two holes line up for the tube to fit into.

I hope you all enjoy the new squeezer, please feel free to leave comments of criticism. Your advice helps me improve my designs to be better for you. Thanks, and happy printing!!

Try using PETG if you have any and increase the number of wall loops.

You’re right. Need to print out a few or try with PETG. It broke the first time while I was testing it.

this looks like silk PLA. the additive in silk PLA makes it significantly weaker than regular PLA

Nothing is really wrong it's just warning you about an overhang that may require supports, but it prints fine without the supports so don't worry about it.

Yeah that looks rough, if I may recommend try slowing down the print speed to improve quality.

The PLA version of the axis snapped on the first attempt, so I printed it in PETG and that solved it. I love this design!

Works perfectly. The ratcheting mechanism is super satisfying and feels solid. Great print-in-place model
