Description
I created this 3D model based on the Mayan dagger used in the film Apocalypto, trying to keep the design as faithful to the original as possible
This is my first model. As you can see, I am not an expert designer :) but I hope you still like this model. I tried to stay as faithful as possible to the original, even in the dimensions and sculpted details. It is ideal as a display item, for cosplay or as a collectible
The model consists of two parts: handle and blade. I printed the handle and had it hand-painted to achieve that sculpted and aged ivory effect. I printed the blade and then, using a soldering iron, I slightly melted and shaped it to obtain an effect similar to sculpted obsidian. For the fibers visible at the base of the handle, I used bristles taken from a common broom
