Huge thanks for every boost!

About the model:

This is a wall art lamp that is based on the iris structure of the eye (but it also has some black hole or sun vibes.). You can integrate an LED puck light into it to make it pop in low-light conditions. You control the LED wirelessly to set the color or use a smooth color transition mode.

You can hang it on a nail, use the linked double sided-foam tape or just put it on a shelf.

See the video above for assembly guide.

Print guide:

  • adaptive layers
  • 5% gyroid infill
  • normal (not tree!) support under these parts:

  • bottom surface pattern for the cover: Archimedean chords
  • place the cover on the build plate so there is no texture under it (Bambu logo will look bad on the black surface)

I made a roll like the one shown in the second photo, so that it would be tight

Very nice! I wanted to print the outer part (=front) of the cover piece black and the inner part white for better reflection. Somehow I couldn't achieve the desired effect with Bambu Studio's color painting function. So I made my own two-part version that'll print with a black front and rim while the inner part can be assigned a different color. Since this model can't be remixed I can't share my files but the picture may serve as an inspiration.

Just in case you don't read like me, lol, yes I get the irony in that. You only need one light box as it comes with two hahahaha. Guess I'm making two more hahaha. At least this is a fairly good model. I did adjust one thing, the pupil, I made it thicker so I could paint the back white and keep the font black.
