Wobbly Table Leveling System (Custom Sock + Wedge)
Print Profile(1)

Description
My table was wobbling. A lot.
So I designed something better than a folded napkin.
This is a simple system to level almost any table using a measuring wedge and a custom-fit sock that you can create without knowing how to 3D model
The Measuring Wedge
Everything starts with the wedge. This tool lets you measure exactly how much height you need to compensate to stop the wobble:
- Slide it under the unstable leg
- Push it in until the table stabilizes
- Read the required height directly in millimeters
Generate your Sock
With those measurements, you can create a custom-fit sock using MakerLab. The model is fully customizable directly in your browser, so you don’t need any 3D modeling experience. You can:
- Choose the leg shape (round or rectangular)
- Input the exact dimensions
- Set the height needed to compensate
This generates a sock that fits your table precisely and stays in place.
Make it your own
Once you’ve got the right fit, you can start playing with the design:
- Adjust the height of the sock
- Change the wall thickness (go slim and subtle or thick and chunky)
- Modify the edge rounding (from sharp and defined to smooth and rounded)
You can keep it minimal and discreet… or make it bold and expressive.
Take it with you
Once you’ve leveled your table, the wedge doesn’t have to stay behind. It includes a loop so you can attach it to your keychain and carry it with you. If you come across a wobbly table, just take it out, stabilize it, and take it with you when you leave.
Download the wedge, measure your table, and create your own sock.
