NASA LED Sign
Print Profile(1)

Description
This illuminated NASA sign is designed as a clean and modern display piece for your desk, shelf, or workspace. The letters are internally lit using LED strips, creating a strong and even glow that really stands out in darker environments.
The model is designed for multi part printing and assembly. No AMS is required, but some experience with soldering is recommended. You will also need super glue for assembly.
Assembly instructions
First, glue the letters without their back covers onto the base or the electronics box.
Next, take the back covers of the letters. Route the wires from the N and the S downward so they can reach the next letters, and place them into the provided cable channels. After that, glue the LED strips on top and connect them. Once all four letters are connected, insert the wires into the openings on the base. Now glue the back covers onto the letters to close them. Make sure to leave the wires long enough to connect all letters to each other and still have enough length to solder them to the D1 Mini outside the box.
The D1 Mini with USB C should be fixed to the back wall of the box using hot glue. The on and off switch is also mounted in this area and should be secured with hot glue as well.
After everything is connected and soldered, close the box by either screwing or gluing the back panel. The screws used here are 1.46 mm by 10 mm.
The system is powered by a D1 Mini running WLED.
I hope you enjoy building this project. If you like the design, I would really appreciate a positive rating and your feedback.
