Hello everyone again!!!

Today I'm here to share some small clamps or jaws for small DIY projects. I needed to glue certain elements, and the clamps I found weren't quite convincing because they didn't provide enough pressure, so I decided to design my own

These are DIY clamps with swivel jaw tips to perfectly adapt to any surface. They also feature vertical and horizontal grooves to hold round objects

I designed them as print in place so that no assembly is required

The clamps are fully functional right after printing (you need to move the jaws slightly to loosen them), but like any clamps of this type, the elasticity of the plastic isn't very good, and they tend to lose strength with use. Therefore, I decided to make them compatible with typical clothespin springs to give them greater gripping force, and THEY WORK GREAT!!!

You just need to insert a clothespin spring (like the one shown in the following image) into the jaw holes, and you're done. You can check the model images to see how they look. Be aware that depending on the thickness of your spring's wire, you might need to ream out the jaw holes with a drill bit for a good fit

And more or less, that's all I can say about the model

I hope you like it and find it useful

P.S. If you print it, I encourage you to share your impressions about the model, upload photos of the result, and give me a boost to continue creating more models

Boost Me (for free)

If you liked the model and found it useful, I would appreciate it if you could rate the model, give it a "like", upload a photo of the result, or give me a boost (and if you do everything, that would be amazing). This encourages me to continue creating more models and helps them gain visibility. Thank you very much!!😉
