Description

šŸ‘¹ The Scourge of the Dungeon - Goblin Marauder Miniature

"Sneaky. Vicious. Cunning. And never alone."

Bring a classic menace to your tabletop with this high-detail, generic Goblin Marauder miniature, the perfect generic enemy unit for classic fantasy wargames or deep dungeon TTRPG campaigns. This hunched, detailed warrior is a core unit of the Classic RPG Series, designed to look menacing in any encounter. The model features detailed tattered leather armor with multiple straps, a sneering expression, a round spiked shield, and a curved scimitar blade.

Functional & High-Detail Design

This miniature is engineered to be a cunning unit with maximum visual impact on FDM printers. The intricate tattered leather textures, defined muscle definition, and the chaotic spikes and blades provide deep Z-depth contrast. This ensures the model looks premium even before painting, capturing every vicious detail for your collection. The robust "Chunky" design ensures a powerful presence without sacrificing structural integrity.

šŸ“ Scale & Build Options

  • Base Size: 32mm (Integrated scenic base with cobbled terrain).
  • Format: Single-piece high-detail sculpture.
  • Series: Suitable for Classic RPG Series, fantasy, grimdark sci-fi, or deep dungeon wargame collections.

āš™ļø Technical Printing & Slice Settings (Tested & Certified)

This configuration has been tested to ensure maximum detail retention for the fine armor textures and face.

  • Layer Height: 0.08mm recommended (User’s previous successful setting, crucial for retaining fine surface details).
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm.
  • Supports: Tree supports are required.

šŸ› ļø Post-Processing & Special Cautions (Crucial Tips!)

While this generic unit is optimized, the support removal is delicate in specific zones due to the intricate design.

  • Required Tools: Standard flush cut pliers (tronchesine) and a hooked/pointed metal pick tool are essential for a clean finish.
  • āš ļø Sword (HIGH DANGER AREA!): Use extreme caution when cleaning supports from the curved blade. It is extremely delicate and prone to breaking. Move slowly and precisely with the pick tool.
  • āš ļø Loincloth & Shield (CAUTION AREA): Exercise caution when removing supports from the loincloth area between the legs and around the shield's edge and spikes. Take extra time here.

Technical & Creative Note: This design is based on an AI generation that I have manually refined and tested on FDM prints to ensure printability and quality. The featured photo is of the actual physical print. I’ve included AI-colored renders only as a visual reference for those who wish to paint the miniature.

šŸ› ļø Support the Process!

šŸ’” What you see is what you get: Unlike many profiles that only upload digital renders of unprintable models, every single design here is fully test-printed, refined in Blender/Meshmixer, and optimized for FDM before release.

I spend hours tweaking geometries, custom supports, and wasting my own filament so that you can enjoy a flawless, hassle-free print on your first try.

If my test-printing hours saved your time and filament, feel free to keep my printers running and fuel the next project! Any support is greatly appreciated: paypal.me/mjrko84
