Summary

Ever wondered what's inside a frag grenade?  This model shows the inner workings of the iconic WW2 Mk2 Frag grenade, aka the pineapple grenade.  The model shows the internal TNT, fuze mechanism, hammer, and many other internal components.  The model takes seconds to assemble and doesn't require an AMS -- no glue is required.

Bambu filaments used

  • Matte Yellow
  • Silk+ Silver
  • Sunlu Silk Red Copper (Amazon link)
    • Silk+ Rose Gold is the closest Bambu filament
  • Polymaker Army Green (Amazon link)
    • Matte Dark Green is closest Bambu filament

Assembly takes seconds

1. Insert the yellow TNT into the bottom of the grenade as you see below.

2. Then, use the provided peg to connect the top and bottom parts of the grenade body as you see below:

3. Next, screw the long fuze part into the grenade as you see below.  If you can't get the thread started, just turn it a little and try again.  It will easily screw in, doesn't need to be forced.

4. Then, screw the top of the fuze on top like you see below.

5. Lastly, put the handle on the top and insert the pin through the hole.  If you have trouble getting the pin to go all the way through, adjust its angle a little and look at the exit hole side to help you line up the pin.
