Description
BISON OF LA MADELEINE
Also called "bison licking its flank", in French "bison se léchant", it is a characteristic figure of Paleolithic portable art. Dating approximately from 15,000 BC, it was found in the La Madeleine rock shelter, near Tursac in the French Dordogne. The original piece is made of reindeer antler and depicts a bison of the now-extinct species Bison priscus, with its head rotated towards its back and its tongue extended. It was possibly part of a spear-thrower, from whose broken remains this piece was carved

DOWNLOADABLE FILES:
The bison available in the print profile has approximately the same dimensions as the original piece, so an .obj file version is available for download, for cases where, for example, it is desired to scale it to increase or decrease its size
I have also uploaded the stand file in obj format, with the text in SPANISH and another exactly the same, but with the text in ENGLISH
PRINT PROFILE:
Regarding the Bison, I have only uploaded a print profile with a layer height of 0.12, slightly increased bottom layer count, and 20 percent infill. I believe this will yield the best results; however, you can download the .obj file and configure the print to your liking
I have also uploaded a profile for printing the stand in its SPANISH version, and another for its ENGLISH version
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINAL FINISHING:

After printing, I recommend using fine-grit sandpaper only to remove burrs. Afterward, I advise applying special glass enamel with a paper napkin, ensuring it gets into all crevices, and then, once dry, finishing with another sanding
The lacquer I recommend is the one corresponding to the photograph following this text, preferably brown
