Magnetic Door Latches Record Power Sabre250
Print Profile(1)

Description
The original door latches eventually annoyed me with their long threads.
(I know it's part of the safety feature, but I'm the only one with access to the saw.)
Therefore, I designed these magnetic door latches.
These are simply exchanged for the original ones.
All that is additionally needed is a magnet with 10 mm diameter and 10 mm length,
an M6×20mm hex screw and an M6 nut. (Per door latch).
No further intervention on the saw is necessary, and it can thus be reverted at any time.
Glue the magnet into the latch with a few drops of superglue.
Replace the original door latch with the new one.
The original screws and nuts fit here.

Screw the M6 screw into the existing thread in the saw,
and secure it from the back with the M6 nut.

Hope you have a lot of fun with the model.
I'm just starting to publish my designs.
Therefore, I would be very happy about a Like or even a Boost.
