Spherical Drone - Oblivion

This model is the spherical drone from the sci-fi movie Oblivion, with a size of 95mm, perfect as a toy or an ornament

It features a beautiful appearance, flexible articulated joints, and is quick and easy to assemble

Features: Multi-plate printing, 200g filament usage, 7 hours print time Articulated arms and tail thrusters can retract, extend, rotate freely, and hover at any angle Except for a few small components, all parts are separated, multi-plate, and multi-color printed Parts are assembled with threads, with mutual limiting, requiring only a flat-head screwdriver Fully fitting base, supporting any pose
Printing Information: Two colors, black and white, multi-plate printing Only the head ornament and tail thrusters use multiple colors; you can also manually change filament or hand paint The print profile has all parameters set; the corresponding filament can be printed directly

Assembly Method:

• Only requires a flat-head screwdriver and a small amount of glue (for head ornament installation)
• After nesting the left and right weapons, fix them with printed bolts, which provide both locking and limiting
• When installing the central axle, orient the crescent-shaped notch towards the tail thruster area; the notch facilitates observation from the side
• The tail nozzles are thread-assembled, the head ornament is glue-fixed, and the small tail nozzles can optionally be colored with a marker pen

*Since the release of the first version of the chibi drone in 2024, its beautiful appearance and adorable design have been loved by many movie enthusiasts. I believed I could restore a more realistic appearance with more reasonable articulated parts, so I created this model. In terms of shape, I watched movie clips countless times, highly restoring the proportion and shape within acceptable limits. Like Dummy 13 enthusiasts, we are more keen on posing it in our favorite way, so after numerous tests, I chose this compromise structure. The bottom stand will not affect the articulated parts, allowing it to be posed in any way. I also tried to separate all parts by color, so friends without an AMS can still enjoy it.
