Kushi Comb –
My project transforms a traditional object into a contemporary product through 3D printing:
the Kushi comb. Inspired by Japanese design, this comb combines minimalist elegance and functionality, maintaining the compact shape and closely-set teeth typical of the original.
Made with only 30 grams of filament, the model demonstrates how it is possible to create a lightweight, durable, and precise object using digital technologies.
The design was optimized to ensure efficient printing and a clean surface, without sacrificing aesthetics.
The project's strength lies in the balance between tradition and innovation: an ancient object that gains new life through digital design, becoming customizable, replicable, and accessible to all .
