Description
This lean angle bar for the Losi Promoto was developed to allow the bike to lean further and more controllably into turns. The additional contact surface allows tighter cornering without other components touching the ground prematurely. The part is precisely 3D Printed and fits neatly into the existing mount
The following additional components are required for complete assembly
- PA6 Nylon Rod Ø 6mm (2x230mm)
- Flat Head Screws M4x14
- Flat Head Screws M4x16
- Flat Head Screws M4x30
- Self-Tapping (Plastic Thread Screw) with Hex Head M2x12mm
The PA6 Nylon Rod is inserted into the side holders It is then fixed by drilling through the holders and screwing the rod in place
 
I printed the holders in PLA with 5 walls and 90% infill After a few test rides, there are no issues Of course, printing in PETG or Nylon would be better
Update 04/2026
For the best fit and maximum durability, I have also developed a suitable 3D Printed bending jig for 6mm nylon/POM rods
The jig ensures the correct bend and optimizes the shape of the grinding surface for more contact area and less wear
