Sea&SandChessBoard

Hello, the chessboard depicts a wave crashing on the sand. I created it with the idea of adapting it to some chess I saw on MakerWorld.

If you want, you can also print it without AMS.

I specify that this is just a chessboard and I didn't create the chess. I use them in the photos only to improve the photo of the chessboard.

I used Pla Matte (navy blue) for the box and Pla Polylite (cream) for the table. Finally, for the water boxes, I used Pla Translucent (Ice Blue) with the base always made with Navy Blue. In addition, I used Bambu Starry as a dish to give it a sparkling effect.

In the first print of the boxes I had a problem with the first layers, so I stopped it and recycled the pieces to glue them on some sand boxes; the effect is much more pleasant.

For the rest, the boxes fit well together and you don't need glue (you could scale them 0.5% less).

For the base of the chessboard, the height is always adapted to the chess I printed. I used cylindrical magnets 0.5 cm in diameter and 0.2 cm high to attach it to the board. I printed it in blue because I didn't have the color of the sand available, but if I wanted in the future, I could reprint both the base and the board to create even more of the wave effect.
