OVERPASS-The Cable-Friendly Tap Tempo for Boss DD8

Description
OVERPASS: The Space-Saving Bridge Tap Tempo (Boss DD-8)
The Problem: I like ultra-compact pedalboards. My last build was so tight I literally had zero room left for a Tap Tempo for my Boss DD-8.
The Solution: OVERPASS. This isn't just another plastic box. Its "superpower" is that it’s hollow underneath. Designed like a bridge, it sits directly over your patch cables (works best with flat patches), reclaiming the dead space between your pedals.
Why download this?
- Zero Footprint: It lives where your cables are. If you have room for a patch cable, you have room for OVERPASS.
- Rock-Solid Build: I printed this in PLA with heavy settings. Is it "over-engineered"? Probably. But I wanted something that wouldn't snap under a heavy boot during a gig.
- Open Design: Download it, kick it, and tell me how to make it better. I'm a fanatic for optimization and I want your feedback.
DIY Hardware (BOM):
- Switch: Momentary Footswitch (e.g., Thomann PF4520).
- Patch Cable: I soldered a sacrificed patch cable end directly to the switch. Simple, cheap, and indestructible.
Recommended Print Settings (Don't skip this!):
To ensure it survives a live show, use these settings:
- Wall Loops: 4 to 6 (Crucial for structural integrity).
- Infill: at least 40% (Gyroid works for me).
- Material: PLA is fine, but PETG or ASA is better for heat resistance under stage lights.
