Modular LED Cube Lamp – 3D Printed Design Object
This unique LED lamp was entirely self-designed. The design combines modern geometry with a warm, homely appeal, making it a true eye-catcher.
The lamp consists of four modular elements that easily fit into each other. This clever construction allows the lamp's height to be individually extended and adjusted – completely without tools. Screws or adhesive are not needed, as all parts are precisely designed.
The bottom module includes an integrated receptacle for a 60 mm diameter LED lamp, for example, a Bambu Lab LED with a 60 mm diameter. The cable is neatly routed backward through an internal cable guide with strain relief, creating a tidy overall appearance.
Customizable Lighting Design
In my example, I use an LED light with a color-changing function. This allows the light color to be adjusted according to the mood – from warm orange to vibrant red or other shades.
Alternatively, a classic white-emitting LED can certainly be used. In this case, the lampshade can be individually printed in a desired color to create specific accents.
The lamp was printed with Overture Color Change Rock filament, which gives the surface a special, wood-like appearance. Depending on the incidence of light, natural color gradients are created, further emphasizing its high-quality character.
The light emanates specifically through the gaps in the modules, creating an atmospheric ambient light. In combination with colored LEDs, impressive lighting effects are created – from warm and cozy to modern and vibrant.
