Discover our new sitting black cat figurine, a truly adorable yet sinister little convict. This model depicts an elegant black cat wearing a classic prisoner's uniform, complete with its black and white horizontal striped jersey and matching cap. Perfect for an office, a shelf, or as a fun gift
Why you'll love it:
- Designed for Simplicity: Print the complete body in a single color (we recommend matte black) as a solid, clean base
- NO AMS REQUIRED: This is the highlight! You don't need an expensive multi-material printer or an AMS (Automated Material System) to achieve this final look. The physical print itself is monochrome
- Ready for Hand Painting: The beauty of this model lies in its post-print customization. It can be entirely hand-painted. The uniform stripes, cap, and luminous eyes are meant to be painted by you. This gives you full control over fine details and color variations. (Note: The object shown in the photo was hand-painted after printing)
- Total Customization: You can easily resize the model in your slicer to make it a small good luck charm or a large entrance statue
Suggested Print and Post-Processing Guide:
- Print: Print the complete STL file. We recommend a high-quality black filament
- Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS
- Infill: 10-15% (Gyroid is a good choice)
- Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.2mm for a good balance between details and print time
Supports: Minimal (a few light supports under the chin may be useful)
- Paint: Arm yourself with artist-quality acrylic paints
- Jersey: Paint the white horizontal stripes on the body
- Cap: Paint the cap white, then add the white stripes on top
Eyes: Paint the luminous yellow pupils
- Varnish: Once the paint is completely dry, you can apply a protective varnish (matte or satin) if desired, to seal the colors and provide a durable finish
