Sanding block for 75x457mm belts

I designed this sanding block because most available models for woodworking are either too small or inefficient for my woodworkingstuff. A common issue with typical sanding blocks is the clamping mechanism, which often makes up to half of the sandpaper unusable.

This design follows a different approach:

👉 Uses standard sanding belts (75 × 457 mm)
These belts are made for small handheld belt sanders and are widely available in hardware stores or online.

👉 Eccentric tensioning mechanism
The integrated lever allows you to:

• quickly change the sanding belt
• securely tension it without tools
• easily rotate the belt

➡️ This way, the entire sanding belt can be used, significantly increasing its lifespan and reducing waste.

🎨 Versions

• AMS version:
  Includes a colored Text with the grit number (e.g. P80, P120)
• Non-AMS version:
  Grit number is integrated into the model
  → can be colorized using a print pause (optional)
