Drybox Holder for Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2

These drybox holders can replace the 2 lower spool holders on the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2. Theyre meant for common dryboxes with base measurements of about 230 x 100mm or less. You can use the last photo in the gallery to do an image search to find the exact model. But as long as the base measurements are about the same, it should be fine. But you can adapt the holders to fit your needs of course. The base of the holders sit flush with the printer.

INSTRUCTIONS

Theyre straightforward to print. You can print them upright or with the mounted side flat. The first option doesnt need supports but might require a bit of cleanup work on the screw holes. The second option takes longer but should add a bit more rigidity and perfect screw holes. I printed the model with basic PLA and 25% gyroid infill.

With a new 1 kg spool they sag a little bit, as you can see on the photos. But that doesnt impact functionality. The design that I uploaded is a newer, sturdier iteration (depicted in the CAD screenshot) that should hold up better. You may want to increase the infill to 30% or try another material just to be sure.
After printing remove the spool holders, unscrew their mounting adapters and attach the drybox holders instead.
