Q-Lock male - Tigra female Converter

After many trials, here is the final version of a Tigra/Quad-Lock adapter. The Tigra system is equivalent to the Quad-Lock system and allows you to attach your phone to a motorcycle, bicycle, or other vehicle depending on the mount used.

I designed this adapter to attach a phone equipped with a Quad-Lock system case (female) to a Tigra-equipped vehicle (male).

I modified the locking mechanism by replacing the push lever (downwards) with a push button. This operation is much less fragile than the original system.

Accessory: 

Only a 21mm x 4.5mm pen spring is needed

Assembly: Simply insert the spring into its hole, position the push button, and lock everything with the ring (the most complicated moment to avoid breaking the ring). Note that it is possible to put the ring on first.

Printing: 

•  The main body and the push button should be printed tilted to limit supports.
• A little finishing (light sanding) may be necessary on the main body.
• Settings: 2 to 4 walls, 0.20mm in PLA Basic, 15% infill.
