SpinLoop – Rotating Disc Loop. Endless spin.

SpinLoop is a modular rotating disc loop designed for fast printing and satisfying motion. Each disc connects to the next at a 90° offset, creating a smooth, continuous rotation once the loop is closed. With 6 modules you form the classic SpinLoop. Add more in pairs (8, 10, 12…) to create larger, more complex loops.

Print it in single color, dual color, silk, or with 50:50 layer changes — every version creates a different visual effect.

Perfect as a fidget object, kinetic sculpture, or quick-print gift.

⭐ Print Profiles (4 profiles)

1. Silk Edition - Creates a premium, iridescent look
2. Dual Color - top and bottom layer in contrast filament
3. Fast Print (<30 min) - Prints extremely fast and still rotates smoothly

4. 50:50 layer changes - Color swap half way 

    

⭐ Assembly Instructions

1. Print all discs. No supports, no cleanup needed.

2. Take two discs and rotate one by 90°. The slots align only in this offset.

3. Push the inner tabs through the opening. They snap into place with light pressure.

4. Continue adding discs in the same 90° pattern.

5. After 6 discs, close the loop. The last disc connects into the first with the same motion.

6. For larger loops: Always add 2 discs at a time → 6, 8, 10, 12…

• 6 discs → classic SpinLoop
• 8 discs → wider, slower rotation
• 10 discs → complex, flowing motion

• 12+ discs → sculptural, hypnotic loops

   

Always expand in pairs to keep the geometry balanced.
