Description

Person of Lordly Caliber is a game that has lived rent free in my head since I first played it, and which gets a replay every year. I've always wished that I could have some ‘toys’ or models of the characters, and AI has made that possible.

If you don't like that the models are AI generated, I'm sorry about that - I'm also not a huge fan of AI - but I couldn't find options anywhere else, as no one had made similar either paid or free.

Above you can see the general process:

  1. I upload the image from the Manual/Game model to ChatGPT with some basic instructions and have Dall-E output a slightly more 3D looking representation.
  2. I feed this representation into HitEm 3D via the MakerWorld Generator. I have generated these ones with HitEm 3D, but Meshy is probably slightly better
  3. I print the model with the Obscura Nox V2 Settings and a 0.2mm nozzle on my Bambu A1 or A1 Mini
  4. I paint the model - I am very sorry my painting is TERRRIBLE - I actually probably won't paint the rest or will pay someone who isn't incompetent

Models with these settings are very slow to print (7-10 hours per model), but come out looking great. YMMV printing with different settings or nozzle sizes.

Most models are pretty stable, but a few broke in small areas and had to be glued back together. You could pre-cutsome of the more difficult components of these models into parts and orient for printing, but this project was already too much work to bring together.

Like the project? Want to see the enemy NPCs like Rhade, Baldwin, Godeslas, Richard and the rest? Want to see the basic units lke Wizards, Pumpkinheads, Griffins, and Liches? Then please boost this set!

Sorry but Makerworld doesn't love these models, so they are split between two print profiles.

All profiles are set up using ObscuraNox settings.
