Description

The ant drawing of https://hormigas.mx/ was turned into a realistic ant using Imagen 3 and then converted to a 3D model in Makerlab. It came out pretty nice and can be printed in a single piece. The supports can be a bit tricky but over all are one of the easier ones to remove :D Prepare a glue for the legs you might break off D:

Hormigas.mx, Laboratory of Molecular Ecology & Biodiversity, focuses on understanding the ecological and evolutionary processes that create biodiversity, primarily using insects, especially ants, as their model group. Their research spans various spatial scales and regions, including Indo-Australia and Mexico, and investigates ant ecology, evolution, genetics, and their interactions with other organisms, as well as the impact of introduced ant species.
