Description
I designed this modular chess set to combine functionality with a sleek, minimalist geometric aesthetic. The board features interlocking "squircle" tiles that create a beautiful patterns.
- Modular Board: The interlocking tile design is rigid and stable without the need for glue. This allows for:
- Multi-color customization: Print tiles in your favorite combinations (Marble & Black, Copper & White, etc.).
- Easy Printing: The compact size of individual tiles makes them printable even on smaller printers.
- Dual Functionality: The top corner tiles feature a different geometric shape with a built-in slot. This allows the entire board to be hung on a wall as a piece of geometric wall art or design decor.
- Integrated Magnets: The Pieces have 5 variations, 1 without magnets and 4 different sizes of round magnets (3x2, 4x2, 5x2 and 6x2). The board tile have custom-sized sockets for 3mm diameter x 2mm thick magnets. Working on uploading the same variations of the pieces soon.
