Description

This is a 3D printable external magnetic nasal dilator designed to improve airflow through the nose by gently expanding the nostrils using magnets.

The system works with two small external magnets (placed on each side of the nose) and a printed clip containing embedded magnets, creating a secure and comfortable hold without internal inserts.

🖨️ Print Settings

  • Material: PLA or PETG
  • Supports: Not required
  • Infill: 15–30% recommended
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm

⏸️ Pause & Insert Magnets

  • Pause at layer 60
  • Insert 8×1 mm magnets
  • Make sure magnet polarity is correct
  • Resume printing to seal magnets inside

🧲 Magnets Required

  • Type: Neodymium
  • Size: 8 mm diameter × 1 mm thickness
  • Quantity: depends on model (usually 2 inside + 2 external)

⚠️ Notes

  • Ensure correct magnet orientation before continuing print
  • PETG is recommended for better durability and flexibility
  • Not a medical device – use at your own discretion
