Description

This is a metric remix of Morley Kert's 3D Printed version of the WOBY jig and featured in my Youtube video here:

I Solved My Camera Rig Problem With Concrete and a 3D Printer

You can find all assembly instructions in Morley's video linked in the Model Origin Section.

Bolt lengths are all the same except for the changes listed below.

  • This version accepts M8 hardware instead of Imperial ¼ inch
  • I have added recesses for nyloc nuts for extra strength and stability
  • If you use hex-head bolts like I did (button head would be better as they fit the recesses), you will need to get slightly longer bolts and print the “sinkwasher” file to fill the recesses.

If you choose to built the rolling cart like mine, I have included the files for all the braces.

You will need a length of 30x30mm timber (length is up to you), to fit the braces I have designed.

All parts were printed in Elegoo PETG with 6 walls.

I had great bed adhesion thanks to the awesome Filaform Extra Strength Adhesive Spray (#notsponsored it's just great)

If you enjoy the video, I'd really appreciate it if you could like and subscribe.

Thanks!
