Description
Description:
--------------------
If you’re running a Bambu H2D and want a cleaner way to deal with VOC fumes, this is a simple, modular solution that works without modifying your Levoit purifier. This enclosure is designed to drop a Levoit Mini air purifier directly into a sealed base while connecting to your H2D exhaust using standard flexible ducting. The goal is to capture fumes at the source and pass them through the purifier as intended. Unlike other designs, this keeps the Levoit unit completely intact. No cutting, no removing the bottom, no hacking the internals. Just drop it in and go. The nozzle rotates so you can dial in your hose angle, and both ends are detachable which makes it easy to move, clean, or reconfigure your setup.
Features:
---------------------
- Drop-in fit for Levoit Mini
- No modification to the purifier
- Maintains factory airflow path
- Rotating inlet nozzle for flexible hose routing
- Quick disconnect on both ends
- Sealed design with foam interface
- Works with standard flexible ducting
Why:
-------------------
Most setups either vent outside or tear apart the purifier to reuse the fan. I wanted something cleaner.Something that keeps the purifier working the way it was designed, while still giving me a dedicated path to handle fumes coming off the printer. This is what I ended up using in my own setup.
Notable Mentions:
------------------------------
This design was built using the 90° H2D exhaust adapter and coupler system created by another MakerWorld designer that goes by Clough42. Their work was a big part of what made this setup possible, especially the clean interface and quick disconnect functionality. Instead of redesigning that portion, I chose to build around it and focus on the enclosure side of the system. If you’re building this setup, I highly recommend using their parts alongside this model.

Optional but Recommended:
----------------------------------------------
This setup works on its own, but if you actually care about removing odors and VOCs effectively, this is where things level up. I designed a separate internal carbon media system for the Levoit filter that significantly increases the amount of activated charcoal and improves real-world performance. The stock filter from Levoit just doesn’t have enough carbon mass to properly handle sustained fumes. This upgrade fixes that. It’s a simple drop-in solution that pairs directly with this enclosure and turns the whole setup into a much more capable filtration system. It has funnels for easy carbon pellet drop in. No screws needed. Holds the most amount of activated charcoal on the market.

Printing:
--------------------
This model is designed to be easy to print and works well with standard settings. All parts can be printed using generic filament profiles. There are no elevated temperatures involved, so PLA works perfectly fine. PETG or ASA are also great options if you prefer added durability. Everything fits within a Bambu X1 build volume or larger. As long as your printer is dialed, this should come out clean without much effort.
