Thank you for the beautiful model. I have now done a test print with a height of 4cm. Everything worked and fit perfectly. I made the model larger on the inside and added the text to the lid

Scaled down slightly and printed without supports. Added a name using the text feature in Bambu Studio and super happy with the outcome. Printed with eSun PLA matte and just used the standard settings for Bambu PLA matte. Thanks so much for the design!

Do you know the internal volume of the full size print? I did a test print scaled way down first to be sure we like the design (love it btw) but I'm not sure if we need the original size or need to scale it one way or the other for what we need it for. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I used the measure tool in Bambu studio and based on the full size print, the volume would be approx 29 cubic inches. There are 2 options to add more volume, you can either up scale the entire urn or you can add a negative part to the centre of the urn to remove some of the inside walls. I did this recently, I selected the urn, right click, select add negative part, a sphere. I used the Move and Scale options to centre and enlarge the sphere and then when I slice, the negative sphere removes a lot of the inside. As seen in the pic

Is there a way to add a name? I like your other designs with names but they don't have the twist lid for security like this one does

Hello, Yes, you can add a name or any other text to the urn. Just select the urn, then select the "T" icon at the top of Bambu Studio to add text. You can choose whatever font and size you wish and copy the rest of these settings:

I just printed this but it failed at the top so nothing there to thread the top on to. Other then that it printed very nice.

Thanks for the boost! Sorry you had an issue, I'm going to do a another test print right now to see if something is wrong with the urn. Will follow up once printed.

I am new to 3d printing so was wondering if it was on my end but nothing seemed to be wrong with printer or filament feed. it was clean up to the top where the lid would thread in and then it just looked like a birds nest happened.

It could be the printer, but I still wanted to test it myself, just to make sure. The print came out fine

Hi, yes the urn is not a perfect circle, it wasn't meant to be. Once I did my test print and made sure the urn looked good and the lid fit, I uploaded the 3mf file and haven't changed it since then. If you're unsure about the print, an option you can do is to scale it down and do a quick test print to see what the finished product looks like before you do a full sized print.

Hello, is there any way to get the heart shape logo on front like in the images? Because i downloaded the file and it isnt showing in the slicer just flat wall. Thanks

Hello, from the drop down, if you select either Open in Bambu or Download 3MF, and use Bambu Studio, it will work. However, if you try to download the 3MF or the STL files and use a different slicer, it may not work. I think the reason for this is that I designed the urn in Shapr3d, and then imported it to Bambu Studio, where I then added the heart shape logo. Apologies but I think only Bambu Studio will allow for the logo to show. The only other slicer I've tested was Cura, that didnt work, I'm not sure about others.

Ah its ok i understand, i own a creality printer so had to import to creality print which must be why no logo is showing. Thanks!
