Description

A detailed mini sakura bonsai with delicate pink blossoms that looks almost alive while remaining very print-efficient. The model is small, doesn’t take up much space, but creates a beautiful spring atmosphere of a blooming sakura tree.

The flowers can be printed in any quantity as needed. With the default 3MF file settings, I personally had one small and one large flower left over. The flowers need to be glued – all you need is super glue, tweezers, a work surface, and a bit of dexterity. The actual assembly took me about 10 minutes.

I used gel-type super glue (Loctite Super Bond GEL), which worked very well.

Recommended materials:

  • pink: “sakura pink” (e.g. Sunlu)
  • brown + white: Bambu Lab Basic

Recommended settings:

  • print flowers at 0.16 mm layer height (High Quality)
  • overall, the model is very easy to print

If you break off a few small twigs while removing the support sticks, it doesn’t matter at all—the flowers will cover them perfectly, and each little tree will also become a completely unique piece that looks great.
