Description
This version was inspired by SAVE THE EXTRUDER - DON'T BREAK THE ICE 2.0 by 2Bproject however, the game board and hammers were designed from scratch by me and the ice pieces were modified to work better for this version.
I loved the original by 2Bproject but disliked it not being storage friendly. I redesigned the board to use removable legs that also store on the board itself. This version and all of it's pieces will fit nicely into a gallon storage bag or small box. I have printed and tested using Bambu matte PLA and Bambu PETG HF (profiles attached) but can't confirm fitment of legs using other brands or type of materials.
The original hammers also left something to be desired so I created a new version that are larger, heaver, more durable, and more printer friendly.
There are 4 different sizes of ice pieces, all with markings on the bottom for easier identification when needed. This also allows users to determine what works best based on their filament of choice. All testing was done with Bambu matte PLA where a 50/50 mix of size 2 and 3 worked well. For smaller kids, using the smaller sizes or a mix might be beneficial while more advanced users might enjoy mixing sizes 3 and 4!
