Description

Designed for the Lamp Kit 001, this model combines traditional Japanese joinery with modern 3D printing, no glue or screws required.

Each connection locks into place through clever geometry and a satisfying twist mechanism.

A fun and engaging build that combines craftsmanship, precision, and a calming, hands-on assembly experience.

Assembly Guide (my recommendation: try to figure out the assembly without the guide, it's more fun this way)

Start by assembling the base frame using 4 horizontal beams and 4 corner connectors to form a square. Make sure all grooves face inward and joints are fully seated. Insert the 4 vertical posts into each corner. Align them so the inner slots face inward—this is important for later steps.

Next, connect the vertical posts with horizontal beams to create the lower structure. Slide in the small locking pins to stabilize the joints.

Now comes the key step: the locking mechanism.Repeat this process for all sides. Once completed, the frame becomes rigid and stable.

Place the lamp holder inside the base, resting on the lower beams.

Finally, prepare the panels by inserting the white diffusers into the grid frames. These will be installed in the next step.
