Parametric Pipe End Cap (Custom Diameter & Thickness)

This is a fully parametric pipe end cap designed to fit a wide range of pipe sizes. You can easily adjust the diameter, wall thickness, and cap length to suit your specific pipe and application.

This end cap is ideal for sealing pipe ends, protecting pipe interiors, covering exposed edges, or finishing projects that use tubing or cylindrical parts.

How to Size Correctly
To get the correct fit, measure the outer diameter of your pipe — not the inner diameter.
Enter this outer diameter measurement into the model parameters to generate the correct size.

Recommended Settings

  • Tolerance: 0.2 mm recommended for a snug but printable fit
  • Recommended Cap Length: 20 mm
  • Wall Thickness:I found that 3mm worked for me 
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm works well
  • Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS all work reliably

Print Notes

  • If your printer tends to print tight, increase tolerance slightly (for example to 0.25 mm).
