About the lighting
💡 For lighting, I use a complete LED kit, simple to install and perfectly suited to my models
👉 LED strip kit, the USB Bambu one is not bad, otherwise any type of strip is compatible
📦 For a clean and functional finish, I also designed a cable cover compatible with all my rear covers, available for download here
✨ Tip: To improve light diffusion, I recommend adding a piece of aluminum adhesive tape to the bottom of the box. The result is more uniform and brighter!
🧴 Assembly is done using contact glue, such as Bison type (available at Action)
🛠️ Tips for perfect adhesion in 3D Printing
Carefully clean your build plate before each print. Grease residues, dust, or fingerprints can impair adhesion and cause detachments
Check the build plate calibration: a well-leveled build plate ensures a uniform and well-adhered first layer
Use an appropriate adhesion surface: depending on your material, apply a thin layer of glue stick, an adhesive spray, or specific tape (e.g., Kapton, BuildTak)
Correctly set the build plate temperature to promote adhesion according to the material used (PLA, ABS, PETG, etc.)
Reduce the print speed of the first layer: a slower speed allows for better attachment of the filament to the build plate
Plan for a “skirt” or a “brim” in your slicer to stabilize the first layer and limit warping
