Hello everyone,

I use Störtebekker's 70g shaving soap and designed a suitable tin with a lid for it in FreeCAD

When creating it, it was important to me that the soap could dry well after use. That's why the lid has ventilation holes in a honeycomb pattern. I inserted jagged ridges into the bottom of the tin. This prevents the soap from resting completely on the bottom and becoming soggy if there is still some residual moisture. It also prevents it from sticking.

The model is kept simple and can be printed easily with no supports

Perhaps someone is looking for exactly such a suitable storage for their shaving soap.

If needed, I would model the lid with a screw mechanism/a bit tighter in the future and create an additional element for draining underneath  → just comment :).

Edit: The lid now has a screw cap.

I only upload things that I have needed myself and therefore modeled. A boost would support me greatly in this :)

The cans are really very good. It would be perfect if they were screw-on so that they could be easily taken on trips. Thank you very much for this great work and for providing it. I like the can very much

Thanks! Yes, I agree, screws would be better. I'll definitely revisit it, but I just wanted to finish first:D

The lid is now screw-on. I had already written in the description before that this was (not yet) the case ;)

great print, I scaled the size to fit the Pin Up Secret soap. It would be nice if there was also a model without a screw cap
