Description

This is an upgrade kit for the Colt 1873 SAA. The model is based on: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1254159-colt-1873-single-action-army-45-revolver-replica?from=search#profileId-1277189  It uses .45 Long Colt, of my design, and operates on pistons.

For assembly, you will need M4 screws and nuts and M3 machine screws. However, you can use any fasteners you have available.

Cylinder - PA-CF. When printing with PETG and ABS, the teeth on the cylinder break off. On the PETG sample, the chamber ruptured.

Hammer spring - PETG. For the hammer spring, use PETG. PA-CF is good, but it loses its shape very quickly under load and the spring weakens.

A more detailed description will be later.

It is a toy, but it can be dangerous if mishandled. Do not shoot at people or animals, as this can lead to serious health consequences.

I noticed that. lucky for me, I downloaded files for the original revolver before god-knows-what happened to the original. I think the person who had them either deleted his account or made it private. Not sure how to get it now...

And in general, I made a few modifications for both the Colt and the SMG, drew new cartridges, more durable ones, and they print without supports + wooden textured grips for the Colt

Cool model, it was fun to assemble. Unfortunately, PLA Silk doesn't handle the stress well — many parts had to be made from black PETG. It was originally intended to have more copper color =)

Hey, great! I'll do it soon, I'm finishing the G19 and then I'll move on to the Colt, could you create a Discord group! to exchange information, I made a change to the 9mm ammunition that resulted in fewer misfires!
