Description

The 300 Immortal Warriors Mask

Sizes and Options:

There's different size profiles:

Small Desk Decoration - Open is good for a desk decoration piece with eyes and mouth holes open

Small Desk Decoration - Closed is good for a desk decoration piece with eyes and mouth permanently covered

Small Desk Decoration - Closed AMS is good for a desk decoration piece with eyes and mouth permanently covered but with separate AMS colours

Small Desk Decoration STAND - is a display stand for the model, looks great in marble PLA.

Life Size Decoration is the full movie size version of the mask (20cm tall) with separate covers for the eyes and mouth that you can tape or glue on depending on whether you want it permanently covered or not.
Life Size Cosplay is the full movie size version of the mask (20cm tall), with holes to tie the mask on with a head band, for the eyes and mouth, in the movie they glued a sheer cloth around the openings so they could see and breath. There's also mesh cosplay plastic on amazon you can cut and glue onto mask

Paint guide:

Model has some rough spots where the supports touched, and some layer lines on the curves.

Sand down the rough support spots and layer lines with some rough 150 grit sand paper.

After sanding, clean the surface of all debris, and use a filler primer to prepare the surface. After primer dries, sand down any more rough spots you notice, and prime it one more time. You should now have a nice smooth surface.

In my case I used Seymour PBE Gray Filler Primer.

Once the primer has fully dried. Apply a coat of glossy black paint primer.

Rust-Oleum Painters Touch 2X Ultra Cover Paint+Primer Gloss Black

Once the previous glossy black base has fully dried, it's time to apply the chrome paint.

I used Dupli-Color Instant Chrome Finish High Gloss, the can instructions recommend applying thin coats, waiting 10min for it to partially dry, then apply another thin coat, I did 4 coats of chrome here.
