Bill of Materials
Description
Classical Foundation is the first study in the Form Studies – The Human Structure Series, returning to the origins of sculptural tradition. Inspired by classical proportions and historical portraiture, this bust emphasizes harmony, symmetry, and structural clarity.
The draped garment and pedestal base reference academic sculpture, while the refined anatomy keeps the piece clean and printable in a contemporary setting. The goal of this study is not reinvention, but precision - a controlled exploration of balance, volume, and timeless form.
Designed as a display-ready object, the integrated pedestal provides stability and presence, making it suitable for desks, shelves, or studio environments.
This piece represents the structural baseline of the series - the point of departure before simplification and deconstruction begin.
Key Features
- Classical proportions and academic structure
- Integrated pedestal for stability
- Clean surface transitions for elegant light response
- Suitable for FDM (larger scale) and resin (fine detail)
