Bring an authentic racing touch to your decor with this lightbox inspired by the famous Sparco logo.
An iconic Italian motorsport brand, Sparco is recognized worldwide for its equipment dedicated to competition: bucket seats, harnesses, steering wheels, and racing accessories. Present on circuits as well as in automotive preparations, it embodies performance, safety, and motorsport style.
This lightbox faithfully reproduces the logo's design with its sleek and sporty style, for a modern, elegant, and decidedly competition-oriented look. It will fit perfectly in a garage, racing simulator, office, or space dedicated to automotive enthusiasts.
The model is optimized for simple multi-color printing, ensuring a clean and faithful rendition of the original visual.
About lighting:
💡 For lighting, I use a complete LED kit, simple to install and perfectly suited to my models.
👉 the Bambu USB LED strip kit is good, otherwise any type of strip is compatible
📦 For a clean and functional finish, I also designed a cable cover compatible with all my rear covers, available for download here:
✨ Tip: To improve light diffusion, I recommend adding a piece of aluminum adhesive tape to the bottom of the box. The result is more even and bright!
🧴 Assembly is done using contact adhesive, Bison type (available at Action).
🛠️ Tips for perfect adhesion in 3D printing:
Carefully clean your print bed before each print. Grease residues, dust, or fingerprints can impair adhesion and cause detachments.
Check bed calibration: a well-leveled bed ensures a uniform and well-adhered first layer.
Use an appropriate adhesion surface: depending on your material, apply a thin layer of glue stick, an adhesive spray, or a specific tape (e.g., Kapton, BuildTak).
Correctly set the bed temperature to promote adhesion according to the material used (PLA, ABS, PETG, etc.).
Reduce the first layer print speed: a slower speed allows for better filament adhesion to the bed.
Include a « skirt » or a « brim » in your slicer to stabilize the first layer and limit warping.
