Description

This model was designed to secure the ends of Tekton socket rails into tool grid base plates.

I have been organizing my tools using the tool grid system - specifically Seraphs plates (9.5mm spacing) - and wanted to find a way to keep using the rails that came with my Tekton sockets. The socket holders on them are great, they twist and lock into place.

I created this rail end cap which simply slides over each end of the socket rail and can be screwed into the plates.

I specifically designed the model with additional depth, allowing you to slide each end cap into the necessary position to align with the plate holes. The end cap is pressure fit so the rails should not move much, if at all.

These are the socket rails from Tekton - I only have the 3/8" rails, but per Tekton's website, the rails appear to be the same dimensions for ¼", 3/8" and ½" so this should work for all.
