Description
Seeing a related design competition on the site, and coincidentally having a 1/64 Shanghai sedan model at hand, I decided to create a background for this car based on old memories. The gate design referenced the old Harbin Municipal Government gate from before 2000, with a drive-through canopy and a colonnade set up outside the gate.
The model uses transparent PETG for the glass and lights. 3mm and 5mm holes are reserved behind the side lights of the gate for installing illuminating LEDs, and space is left inside the top light for a 16mm aluminum substrate LED (ensure high-power LEDs
operate as ordinary LEDs, otherwise they will overheat)
Two types of backplates are designed for the rear: a simple backplate for direct fixation, and a circuit box with a switch and charging port on the side. A crossbeam is set at the top for installing light strips. Both backplates are connected to the main body with screws, and the circuit box cover is also connected to the main body with screws.
The model does not include figures. It looks quite good when lit, and can be used as a night light with a large-capacity battery or by plugging it in.
