Description
Joystick with TPU Layer for the 3DConnexion Spacemouse
This is a model for a replacement joystick for the 3DConnexion Spacemouse. Since the original joystick loses its coating after some time, this is the perfect replacement. The joystick is printed with PETG, and on top of that is an approximately 1mm thick layer of TPU
The print file has been tested on my H2D and works perfectly. Place the PETG on the left nozzle and the TPU on the right nozzle, and you're ready to go. Plate 2 contains the TPU lid for sealing, but it can also be printed in PETG or PLA in various colors, as desired
There are 4 plates for printing in the profile. Plate 1 is the model with a TPU layer, Plate 2 is the corresponding lid
Plate 3 is the model without TPU, where PLA can also be used. Plate 4 is a small model for adjusting hole and XY compensation. For me, I had to enter 0.2 for both values here for the dimensions to be correct, but this varies for every printer. Positive values enlarge, negative values reduce. Print this model first and test if it fits the mouse. After that, you can print the actual model
I don't know if this joystick also fits the wireless devices, it would be great if someone could try it out and let me know, then I will add that information here
