++++++ AUDI TT Mk2 8J Center Armrest ++++++

Since I've been missing a center armrest in my TT for years, I wanted to design something and got inspiration from this

Completely redesigned, with a widened wing for the elbow and cutouts for drinks and similar items

There are two variants/print profiles:

  • One-piece in PETG:
    • printed upside down
    • at least in PETG due to temperatures in the vehicle
  • Two-piece in PETG and TPU
    • the bottom part printed upside down, at least in PETG due to temperatures in the vehicle
    • the top part, depending on preference, printed upside down or flat, in TPU
    • I used TPU 95A for a comfortable elbow rest; other TPU also works, adjust the infill here to the desired softness
    • connected afterwards with bolts and some superglue
    • 3 additional TPU inserts for gentle placement of items in the recesses

0.2mm layer height

2 walls

Hello, unfortunately a version for the A1 mini hardly makes sense, as the footprint for the holder in the cupholders alone is already as large as the mini print plate. If you still want to print it, you can simply cut off the overhang at the front and back in the slicer. It would be worth a try :)

I've had a water bottle as an armrest in my TT for years. I've had a 3D printer for 1 week and immediately printed your armrest. Nice design, nice fit, and it perfectly serves its purpose. Thank you for your work ❤️
