【Cyber Smartwatch S3】is an open-source smartwatch designed for developers and DIY enthusiasts.

No need to master circuit design, no welding skills required, and no need to buy a pile of scattered accessories.

In just three steps, you can own your very own cyberpunk watch!

=========================

1.🛒 Purchase four items: microcontroller, battery, watch strap, screws

2.🛠️ 3D print the case and assemble the hardware

3.🖥️ Install Arduino IDE and flash the program

=========================

(Change the watch face and strap as you like! Change it however you want!)

🌟 Core Features
• Accurate Time Sync: Automatic WiFi time synchronization daily ensures accurate time.
• Health Reminder: Built-in drinking water reminder function, drink more water to stay healthy.
• Cool Watch Faces: Background supports looping scroll effects for a smooth visual experience.
• Infinite Customization: Provides a basic code framework, allowing you to modify the code according to your preferences and freely customize watch face styles and functions.

(If you can't program, send the official documentation to AI and let AI help you write it; that's what I did 😁)

✅ Why is it worth making?
• Solder-free: No complex circuit board design and soldering process, beginner-friendly.
• Cool Case: The internal microcontroller model has been uploaded, and secondary modification of the case is welcome (thanks to Waveshare for providing the microcontroller model file).
• Secondary Development: Detailed official documentation, perfectly compatible with the ESP32-S3 ecosystem, suitable for learning and experimentation.

⚠️ Known Limitations and Challenges
The current battery life is approximately 8 hours (with a 450mAh battery). This is mainly limited by battery size and my programming skill.
Secondary development is welcome. If you are familiar with ESP32 microcontrollers, I highly anticipate you submitting new firmware solutions to help make this project more user-friendly!

🚀 Future Plans
I am currently designing an exclusive desktop stand case. When completed, it can transform into a desktop clock, and connecting a USB cable will completely eliminate battery life anxiety.

(Currently, I have it strapped to a doll as a desktop clock ↑)

📃 Detailed assembly guide & firmware code, see attachments (assembly & flashing guide under construction...)

Firmware code uploaded:

simplewatch3 is the always-on screen version, with shorter battery life;

simplewatch4-endurance has an automatic screen-off function, with longer battery life.

Secondary development to improve battery life is welcome, help make this project more user-friendly!

Update 2026.2.6 Power-saving version firmware: Optimized the double-click logic, fixed the bug where users could complete their daily water intake goal by frantically double-clicking
