Magnetic Paint Palette/Magnetic Paint Palette

This design is a remix of the original "Paint Palette Tray" (link: https://makerworld.com/es/models/563534-paint-palette-tray).

I really liked the idea of the original design, but I wanted a more compact and functional version that would allow me to have the paint containers (wells) perfectly fixed and organized, and with a dedicated spot for the brush.

What have I designed and modified in this version?

• Completely new and magnetic base: I have designed a base from scratch that not only has the shape of the containers but also perfectly integrates holes on its reverse side to house magnets. This allows the paint containers to be securely held magnetically, facilitating individual cleaning and preventing them from moving.
• Containers modified for magnets: I have taken the original container design and edited it to add a recess at the bottom so it can also hold a magnet and "stick" to the base.
• Elevated central brush holder: Unlike the original, this version includes a double elevated central support that runs across the palette. This holder is ideal for resting the brush while you work and preventing it from rolling or staining the surface, keeping it always at hand.

This combination of magnetic holding and elevated central support makes this palette compact, organized, and very practical for any painting session.

Additional materials needed:

• Round magnets of 5x1 mm. A total of 14 magnets are needed (one for each container and one for each base cavity).
• Adhesive (cyanoacrylate/super glue). Make sure to check the polarity before gluing them so they attract each other.

Printing recommendations:

• Material: I have printed this model in PLA but it could be printed in other materials
• Supports: Not needed.
• Infill: 15% is sufficient.
