Description

Experience the hauntingly beautiful sound of the Carpathian mountains! This is a fully functional, 400mm long Koncovka (Slovak overtone flute). Traditionally made from wood, this 3D-printable version brings this ancient instrument to the modern maker.

This plays great. I dunno about friction fit, but it'll do. Maybe I'll try some plumbers' tape to get it to stay together? It sounds amazing. It's quite loud, so I hope you have a forest or trail nearby where you can go so as not to torture your family as you learn how to use it. The sound it makes is great. Also, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. How are there a finite number of notes it can play? How does that work? I'm sure there's some physics here to do with sound waves and the particular volume / length of it that you can explain it with. So cool.

What is the fundamental note of this? Is it tuned to A=440Hz?

This is so amazing! I was so worried bc there were no other reviews but this is awesome. It sounds crisp and is perfect for messing around with and making some tunes
