Information about the Model:
The stadium is located in the Meinau district of Strasbourg and is known as "Le Chaudron de la Meinau" (the Cauldron of Meinau).
- Pure Tradition: Unlike many new arenas in recent years, the Meinau has retained its classic charm. It is a stadium with character, which makes it particularly interesting for 3D model builders who love details.
- Modernization (Renovation 2023–2026): The stadium is currently undergoing massive modernization. The main stand is being expanded, and the entire stadium is getting a new, more transparent shell. For your model, you can therefore choose between the "classic" look and the futuristic "new" look.
- The "Blue Wall": Racing (RCSA) fans are considered the most loyal in France. Even in the third league, the stadium was sold out. The distinctive blue seats are the hallmark of the interior.
- Floodlight Atmosphere: The Meinau is famous for its evening games. Its location in the middle of a residential area ensures a very special, almost village-like arrival for fans before they transform the stadium into a sea of blue and white flags.
- History: Matches from the 1938 World Cup and 1984 European Championship were held here. It literally breathes European football history.
